1969 Datsun 2000 ROADSTER

1969 Datsun 2000 roadster powered by the original 120 c.i. (1983 cc) 135 h.p., Single Over Head Cam in-line 4-cylinder and backed by the matching 5-speed transmission.

The Datsun is believed to be on its third owner who purchased the car 7 years ago. Apparently, the mileage showing 43000 is original and it spent most of its life in the Texas area.

The 2000 was originally red and was repainted by the second owner approximately 20 years ago and it is starting to show some age, but still very solid, please see photos. Top was redone when the car was repainted, and the plastic windows show no fogging. Slight tear on passenger side. The Datsun comes with a removeable fiberglass hardtop and tonneau cover.

The original chrome and glass are in very good condition. All factory gauges function, even the clock.

Current owner had the engine & transmission rebuilt approximately 5 years ago. Additionally, new starter, choke cable, hoses, and belts were done too.

Since the rebuild less than 1000 miles have been logged on the odometer due to other priorities.

It should be noted that the brakes do function but need some adjustment. Parts are apparently scarce.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 15 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 10 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
