MotoeXotica is pleased to announce our latest addition from Japan, very desirable and extremely rare 1989 Nissan Pao. Wanting to create a retro fashionable city car, issan announced the launch of the Pao at the Tokyo Motor Show. It was to be sold on a first-come-first-serve basis when Nissan started taking orders in 1989; the entire production was sold-out within three months, hus making the Pao highly sought after and collectible among Japanese import collectors. The car was only available in Japan and to see one for sale here in the good ole’ USA is a rarity!

Painted in Aqua Gray, his Pao is a rare sight in the United States. Intended for city use in Japan’s crowded cities, his tiny Pao makes even the smallest parking spot viable for use. The exterior paint and body panels are in great condition, nly showing minor imperfections. The interior is very spacious especially given the initial exterior impression. The interior headliner and dash surfaces are painted body color. Tan vintage style cloth seats are in very good condition, long with their unique woven seatback storage pouches. All of the interior trim and accessories were styled to appear in a vintage off-white color using oversize input controls. Manual controls are used on the seats, indows and side-view mirrors for simplicity and durability.

Despite the small displacement of the engine, his Pao is able to traverse city streets with speed and agility, nd is able to match modern driving conditions. This Nissan Pao would make the perfect commuter vehicle for those who prefer a small versatile car, ut want something unique and with the character and style that most modern city cars lack.
