Thank you for looking at our 1975 Chrysler Cordoba. This car looks so good, it looks like it was put away in 1979 and just taken out of heated storage. Basically, the original owner took phenomenal care of the car and in 2001, sold it to the gentleman that I bought it from, but only took the car to car shows and drove it 3,000 miles in a 17 year period. This car has a completely original interior and exterior and is all original mechanically. If you ever had to replace this car, I don't know where you'd find another one this nice.A factory radio is in the trunk and comes with car. The frame around the license plate and the rear broke apart sometime in the past. The replacement is in the trunk. You need to put it on a lift and there are four screws that hold it on. If I fixed everything on the car, there would be nothing for the new owner to do. And car people like to fix their own cars, they want to know it is done right.
This car has a 360 V8, automatic with air, power windows, power locks, cruise, power seat, remote driver's mirror, and a factory slider/sunroof that works perfect that does not leak and special hubcaps from the factory. I took pictures of the interior, so I think the pictures speak for themselves, how nice it is. The body of the car is 100% original from bumper to bumper, nearly as nice as the day it was built. The vinyl top has one little stretch mark in the back about half an inch long that's not really noticeable unless you're looking for it. And there are no bubbles. Ziebart is a system where they put holes in the doors and other parts of the car where they spray tar and try to prevent rust when they're new. Obviously this car was never driven in the salt and the snow, because there would be rust and there is none visible. There are no bubbles on the car and its all original paint. It's amazing that a 43 year old car would be all original. The miles are actual and the title is clean. Now I need to talk about some of the stuff that needs be serviced on the car.
#1: The air conditioning does work but it needs a charge. It shows in the picture as working
#2: The driver's window motor works but it's offtrack. I don't want to take it apart because I don't want to damage the doorpanel (I'm not a mechanic).
#3: The windshield wipers have a mind of their own. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. They've been barely used over the last 17 years. You probably have to clean a couple connections or gears in the system to bring them back to a normal working pattern.
#4: Last but not least, the car starts and runs well, but being that it hasn't been driven much, it hesitates when it starts up. It will probably need a tuneup and a carburetor rebuild in the near future. But the way the car starts, runs and drives now, you can drive it anywhere.
This classic car is definitely a must-see.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL BIDDERS!
