1970 CHRYSLER 300 HURST

Here is one of 485 built by the Hurst Performance Corp. of Royal Oak, Michigan. The Chrysler 300 Club estimates only around 50 are still on the road today. Restored by Pool Automotive of Lockney TX in 1998-1999. The paint is done in Spinnaker White with Cadillac Gold Sauterne Mist accents. This Gold paint was also used on the 70 Hurst Olds 442. Hurst added the distinctive fiberglass hood and trunk. The original 440ci engine was totally rebuilt. Cylinder bored .30 over with high compression aluminum pistons (11.1). All moving parts balanced, heads ported and polished, Crane Power Max cam, Edelbrock performer intake and carburetor, Mopar high performance ignition system, Mopar valve covers and air cleaner with K&N air filter. Custom exhaust system using Hooker ceramic coated headers, 2 ½ inch pipes with Flowmaster mufflers. The car was purchased new in 1970 from the dealer in Clovis, New Mexico and was purchased from the original owner in 1998. The 2nd owner had the complete restoration done and still owns the car today. This is a rare 2 owner car with 10,000 miles on the restoration that was a no expense spared job. We look at all trades and invite independent inspections.
