Up for auction is this 1965 Chevrolet C10 1/2 ton truck. This is a factory Shortbed, leetside, ig Back Window, utomatic, 8 Truck and has all the upgrades recently installed, hat you would have wanted if you bought the truck new in 1965: air conditioning, ower steering, ower brakes, n dash tach, nd tinted glass. The drivetrain consists of a 327 V8 engine, owerglide automatic transmission, nd a Positraction rear end with 3:08 gears. This truck has had plenty of work and money put into it and has been driven and tested. I have personally driven this truck close to 20,000 miles and wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive it anywhere. Additions during the build include: All new brakes front and rear with the addition of the upgrade to power brakes, ll new and/or rebuilt power steering components, ebuilt front end, ew tires, ew driveline, ew U-joints, ab mounts, railing arm bushings, ew cross member, ual exhaust, osi rear end and gear set, core aluminum radiator, delbrock carb, uel regulator, EI distributor, une up components, otor mounts, ransmission mount and crossmember, ll new tinted glass and seals, ab seals, achometer, urn signal switch, intage Air, riginal factory A/C vent, ed wood and hardware, eupholstered factory seat, nd much more. This truck is static lowered with the following installed: new springs, ew shocks front and rear, djustable trac bar, ront and rear shock relocators, nd a notched frame. This truck has had countless hours of work done to get it to what you see today. There are much more parts and customized touches that have been added to get all of the functions you see here to work smoothly. All of the electrical works as it should with the exception of the ammeter. All other electrical items function well: headlights, urn signals, ccessory reverse lights, ipers, ash lights, eater, /C, orn, igarette lighters, ome light, tc. One key works all of the locks: doors, gnition, nd glovebox. This truck is mostly original paint, ith the exception of some spots on the doors where there were possibly old logos removed years ago. There is some rust in the usual areas, ut I would never repair them as the truck is solid as it sits and the areas add character to the truck. This truck was originally sold at Hallowell Chevrolet in Clovis, A. Overall this truck has the most amazing patina look and has some great factory options and you would be hard pressed to find another like it. I hope the new owners will enjoy it for years to come and love the attention that it gets wherever it goes. It is currently registered through the YOM program to a nice set of California black/yellow license plates and they will be included only if the truck is sold within California, nd will be removed if sold anywhere outside of California.
