This 1954 Chevy Bel Air convertible is the recipient of a complete frame off restoration. Finished in trim tag correct Romany Red over 325 red/white interior, he car has a stunning and classic look. The job was completed approximately 15 years ago, nd since then, t has been in the care of a collector who drove the car to local shows. It has been lovingly kept in a climate controlled garage and is a wonderful car to cruise.

During the restoration, he body and undercarriage where all stripped down to bare metal and received all new bodywork and a fresh coat of 2 stage paint. The chrome was redone and the original stainless was straightened and polished. The frame of the car was stripped and refinished as well. Before the body was put back on the frame, ll new bushings were installed. The interior was replaced at the time of the restoration and remains in excellent condition. The top was replaced as well, s were all of the seals.

While the frame was on the ground, ll of the suspension and brake components were refreshed. The restoration used stock components and the car rides smoothly and handles appropriately per its period of build. The steering components were rebuilt as well, sing the factory manual steering and manual drum brakes. The car rides on a new, ut correct looking set of bias ply white walls.

The motor is a date code correct 235 CI Blue Flame from 1954 and has been completely rebuilt during the restoration. Know for their "sewing machine" like sound due to solid lifter design, hese straight-6 engines are some of the best balanced, eliable and smoothest running engines ever produced. This motor is no exception and starts up reliably time and time again. It is stock in nature and runs nice and cool. The smooth shifting, ried and true transmission is a 2-speed Powerglide. It pops off nice clean shifts.
