Description:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

1969 Camaro Z28 RS. Numbers matching DZ 302 with original vin stamp and original DZ stamp on the alternator pad. This Z28 has its original born with drive train. Muncie M21 transmission and BU coded 3:73 rear end. Best of all it comes with the original protecto plate, great owner history, dealer check off sheet and other miscellaneous documentation. (I am listing this car for a friend of mine who doesn't like messing with the World Wide Web. I will put "real" potential buyers directly in touch with the owner. No games here, just doing him a favor.). He has owned the car since 1989 and bought the car with right at 59,000 miles on it in 1989. He has put just over 1,000 miles on it during his ownership. The car has all original sheetmetal with one repaint prior to his ownership. The car is super straight and shows very well as a great driver quality car. The car has one small "door ding" on the passenger side and a "door scuff" on the drivers door, very small rust bubbles just starting at the very bottom of both front fenders and extremely small rust starting at the top of the passenger rear quarter panel. Glad to send close up pictures of any of those areas. Floor pans and trunk pan are in excellent rust free condition. The car is painted it's correct color code 51 Dusk blue with deluxe comfortweave interior. The interior is all original and in great condition with a small amount of wear on the drivers seat. The engine was overhauled at 55,000 miles. He has receipts for this. The engine sounds fantastic, just like a low miles 69 Z28 should sound. The car is in great mechanical condition and is ready to drive. He has had it out to a couple cruise in's this summer. The car still has correct wheels, radiator, deep groove pulley's etc. As you will see in the pictures the previous owner had some engine bay items chromed back in the day. He also installed a set of headers during the engine rebuild. The exhaust manifolds do come with the car. The car has a "DZ" carb on it but the owner thinks he was told it was not the "born with carb”. The car is a LA. California built Z28 therefore it does not have an X code on the cowl tag. This car is a super nice unmolested RS Z28. There are very few left like this, and are hard to find coming from a private seller. This is the first time this car has been up for sale since his purchase in 1989. I highly encourage serious buyers to come look at the car in person. I can help with most questions and have several other pictures I can share. He has no interest in trades and please do NOT contact me to help sell the car. Scammers, do not waste my time, the car leaves when it is paid for in full to our satisfaction. Thanks for looking. It's a great car!
