Fully dressed out engine bay and very correct. Numbers matching original 327 350 h.p. California A.I.R. system still intact and functioning. I need to say that this car runs and drives absolutely fabulous. Shifts smoothly, fires right up. Exempt, but documentation indicates this to be actual miles. It has not been rebuilt, and has not needed to be. It does not overheat. I feel you could drive this anywhere.
Fully documented, with featured pictures of this car in several well known hard back restoration books dating from the early 2000's. These books are instantly recognizable to any Corvette enthusiast;
Original Corvette The Restorers Guide 1968-1982, published in 2001. 12 featured pictures devoted to this Corvette.
The Complete Corvette Model by Model History, published in 2004. Three full page layouts where this Corvette is spread out over two pages.
With poly glass red stripe spare tire and jack in place. Extra clean chassis and rust free frame. Nothing has been sprayed to cover up anything.
Documentation includes;
Protecto Plate
Original tank sticker
Original owners manual with it's original plastic envelope.
Owner history and copies of titles.
License plate that matches the featured photos in the hard back books proving that provenance.
Note book full of misc. documentation and many receipts dating back to the early 1970's.
Interior is in overall good original condition. Seat foam is somewhat broken down causing stress on the original seat covers within the seams, which have minor separation. Carpet is original with expected fading. Seat belts dated original. Dash is very nice with no cracks. Gauges all function as they should. Clock works intermittently. Original AM FM radio is still in place. It works. Air conditioning compressor functions but does not blow cold. Head lamps work great, as does the wiper doors and wipers. Courtesy lights all work as well as fiber optic console lights.
Exterior; Safari yellow paint repainted once in correct lacquer in 1979. Aged well to a nice mellow patina with only minor flaws. Slight checking on hood cowling. Just a few normal wear chips here and there. Very few. All original GM safety glass. Chrome bumpers present very well and shiny with no pitting. Tires are older red stripe with no dry rot and less than 2000 miles on them. The original black vinyl hard top is in great shape. The white soft top is in excellent condition, with a nice clear back window with no cracking or holes.
