1947 Chevrolet Other Pickups Half Ton1947 GMC Half Ton Short Bed Pickup Truck. All original first year Advance Design GMC. A very good candidate for a rat rod. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder. Contact must be made within 24 hours of the auction ending or it will be assumed that you have no intention of honoring your bid and the truck will be offered to others. Zero Feedback bidders must make contact prior to bidding.
It has a beautiful patina if that's what you are looking for. It has the typical floorboard rust as seen in the photos. The cab corners aren't bad. There's a little rust in the door bottoms. Sometime in the past the original gas tank has been removed and replaced with an in cab tank. It needs work obviously but overall a good starting point and cheap entry into 47-55 GM Half Ton truck ownership.
The interior is complete but will require the usual work of re-upholstering the seat and other details.
Mechanically this truck needs rebuilding. It hasn't been driven in years and has no motor. This makes it the ideal candidate for swapping onto a later frame or swapping in a modern motor.
This will make a great project for a resto mod builder or rat rod builder. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder.
If you would like a shipping quote please message us and we will provide you with the contact information of our preferred shippers that are very familiar with loading and hauling the type of vehicles that we sell. You may find this very preferable over dealing with brokers and the nonsense that goes along with that.
If you are buyer outside of the US, then please read our section below, titled 'Shipping' so that you understand what your options are.

1. An invoice, including vehicle description, VIN #, your details and our details
2. A Canadian Title Document
3.Completed & Stamped US Customs Paperwork Form 7501

All of our vehicles are sourced from Canada. We then store them just north of the border until they are sold. Once sold we take the vehicles across the border to ourpremises in Montana for you to collect, or for your preferred shipper to collect for you.
The process of moving the vehicle across the borderto Montana is taken care of by us and fully paid for by us. You will incurabsolutely no further charges above and beyond what youbid for the vehicle.
There is certain border paperwork that is necessary for this process and for that we use a professional customs broker by the name of Cole International USA Inc. They operate with complete confidentiality and any of your personal information, that we supply them with for this process, is treated as such.
Should you wish to have your new (old) vehicle shipped, then let us know and we can put you in contact with our preferred shippers. Theseshippers are familiar with us, our inventory and our location. They are also very reasonably priced.
If you decide to use an alternative shipper, please make them aware if the vehicle is a 'non-runner' and, therefore, will require a winch for loading and unloading. We are not responsible if you book a shipper who is incapable of loading the vehicle.
Due to the nature of what we do, we are often on the road in search of new vehicles, so please be sure to make us aware of your shipping/collection arrangements ahead of time, so that we can arrange to be there to meet you or your shipper.
If you are an international buyer (outside of the US) then you have two options:
1. Have the vehicle transported from our yard in Coaldale, Alberta to the port in Vancouver, British Columbia, and then to your country of residence.
2. Have the vehicle transported from our yard in Coaldale, Alberta, via bonded transport to a port in the US, and then to your country of residence.

who we are and what we do
We are two brothers who seek out original trucks and cars from all across Canada, specializing in vehicles from the 40s, 50s and 60s.
Most American barn finds have long since been found and tampered with by multiple owners; North of the border there still seems to be an abundance of good, solid, original vehicles, waiting to be brought back to life.
We make thesevehicles available to the US market by taking care of importation and providing all paperwork required to obtain a ClearUS Title, in your name and home State.
We are passionate about finding the best there is and understand that our customers wantto see automobiles that have not been tampered with; The more original, the better.
Our inventory is regularly updated, as new finds are unearthed. If there is something specific that you are looking for, then let us know and we'd be happy to see if we can help.
The business we conduct is straightforward and honest. Whether you're looking for something that'sall original, a starting point for a restoration project or the bones for a custom build, Bison Brothers are here to help.
