Description:

1967 Chevrolet Impala

For sale I have a 1967 Chevy Impala Wagon with a 327 SBC rated for 275hp and 355 lb/ft, 3.08 rear gear, and a TH400 transmission with the switch pitch, so the stall changes depending on how far you press the throttle. The car has 162,000 miles on it, but this will increase as I daily drive this car. Previous owner claimed the engine was rebuilt 60k miles ago, but provided no documentation. Pros -Car runs very well. I had the carburetor rebuilt a few weeks ago and did general tune up. I daily drive this car, and wouldn't hesitate to take it on a long trip somewhere. -The transmission shifts buttery smooth at low loads, but kicks hard at full throttle, feels like it has a mild shift kit in it. -Has an HEI distributor, no more points to mess with. -Body and frame are extremely solid, there's surface rust in all the usual places, but the only place that has rust holes is behind the rear wheels. -All original numbers matching engine and trans -Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left, including the spare tire -I have all of the original documentation, like the owners manual, protecto-plate, etc -Overall a very solid car that's been extremely reliable, starts every time, stays cool even on hot days. Cons -Interior is rough, the rear seat and door cards are still good, but there's holes in the front seat, and the carpet in the drivers footwell was cut out for some reason. -Sound system isn't all that great. It has a tape deck, but the speakers that are in the car are blown out so I don't bother listening to anything. Car will come with the original Delco radio. -Like I said above, there's some rust holes in the rear quarter panels
