Description:

1971 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne

For sale is an extremely nice 1971 Chevy C20 camper special pick up. Drivetrain: The truck has 66,000 actual miles. It comes equipped with a 350-4 bbl, 4 Speed, power steering, power brakes, and factory air. The engine is strong but could use some carb work. It has no oil leaks and no smoke. The tranny has granny low and shifts smoothly. The steering and brakes also work great. The truck also has an after market JC Whitney dually kit. The fiberglass fender flares were removed and replaced with narrowed stepside bed fenders. The rear has a flip kit and the front just has the springs removed. Body: The body is basically rust free as seen in the pictures. It had a cabover camper on it so there was never any rust from the firewall back. The dog house was taken off by the previous owner and discarded do to rust. We were given the hood and fenders by the previous owner. The rear fender wells were hacked for the dually conversion but have been cleaned up and welded. The tailgate was taken off when truck was new and kept in a carport. Interior: The seat, door panels, headliner, and dash are like new. The carpet is in great shape other than the driver side area but could be covered with a floor mat easily if you don't want to replace it. The steering wheel needs to be replaced. Still functional but in bad shape. The truck has an added gas tank that was removed but can be reinstalled easily. Wasn't sure if anyone would want it. Overall: The truck is pretty solid overall but still needs a little tweaking to be perfect. We discussed painting the doghouse and fenders and even discussed doing a complete paint job but decided to leave that up to the new owner. We have several other projects going and decided to let this one go to work on those. If you have any questions or want more pictures please ask. I do reserve the right to end this auction early as the truck is advertised locally.
