This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a '78 Pace Car that is completely original, other than the obvious filter changes and battery replacements, and the disc brake calipers appear fairly new. In other words this would be a great car that would take little prep for showing. When I purchased this Vette my sole intent was to add to my collection in hopes of one day acquiring a Vette from every generation. Retirement snuck up and now we're downsizing. On 25 Feb 2019, I took the Vette to a performance center to have the idle looked at as it was idling too high and bogging down on acceleration. The technician found that the secondary butterfly was sticking. He cleaned up the flap, lubed it and tuned the carb. The engine runs much better now. He also repaired a minor trans leak at the filler pipe and added transmission fluid. They also replace the air filter, so she's even better now, but we put 3 more miles on her so she's up to 6,157 on the odometer.
