Description:

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

This is the 57 chevy everyone wantsabout the 57 and tell you all i know about it . We took the body off the frame and sand blasted it and repainted it with frame pain, the floor was a two piece that was installed while the body was of, the paint job is not show quality it still needs touch up and buffin, I Have enough paint to finish the fenders and hood that i will sen, the fenders are not good but can be salvaged i have two hoods the same way I was going to buy them new, the inner fenders wells are the same,I am sending the center rear bumper that is new and the lower front well that is in front of the radiator, the only glass i have is the rear and the driver side door that is good i will send all i have, the drive line is not installed because i was going to change the springs with a set that sets back 3/4 inch you can buy on e bay and relocate the springs under the frame with a frame relocation ki, also on e ba, this will allow a bigger rear tire this is why i left the rear spar tire slot out of the trunk the springs will need to be replaced any way because some one had put those extended spring hangers on it and bowed the springs and there is a crack close to the driver side rear spring hanger which is a easy repair if you choose to keep the springs stoc, the transmission is a 5 speed out of a i rock Z it shifts fine and drove alright but the front shaft baring should be replaced it had a slight roar when i drove it in the car i bought it out of . I have no front bumper it was just to far to gone the engine is a 1985 corvet 350 low miles i was told i never heard it run but i do believe it is a very good engine we modified the oil pan to fit and i put the side engine mount kit that moves the engine forward 34 inch forward that keeps the distributor away from the fire wall and i used the 57 Chevy bell housing then we shimmed the rear side mounts forward to fit so the engine is very secure, engine is a two bolt main we took of one of the main caps off and the bearing had very little wear, the inter-er parts were wire brushed sprayed with a rust neutralizer then primmer, i have the back seat but no front seat, the window regulators are good except for the rear driver side this one should be repaired or replaced .this car was a automatic originally but i have the two petals that will make it a standard, i will send as well .
