1963 Chevrolet Other --

Introduced in 1961, the second generation Biscayne was a large full size car. They provided low cost, low frill transportation with the power and space for a more expensive full size automobile. While many luxury features were not available, all Biscaynes had a full range of performance oriented engine and transmissions on the option sheets, making them very desirable for performance on a budget. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this lovely 1963 Biscayne for your consideration. Finished in... a newer shade of white, this large Chevy looks very sharp. The body is in good shape overall, with decent chrome, great glass, and eye catching American Racing Torq Flite alloy wheels. The interior has been freshly refurbished with new black vinyl bench seats and a very clean dashboard that also features extra gauges. The most impressive aspect of this car is the mechanicals. At its heart lies a 327cid V8 that has been bored out to 337 and is said to produced 400 hp. The engine was rebuilt in 2016, as was the transmission. Other pertinent upgrades include a 3.55 posi rear end, TH350 2200 stall transmission, B&M ratchet shifter, "Muther Thumper" Comp cam, roller rockers, hardened valve seats, quick fuel 650 carb, and Helwig sway bars. The car is happy to run on 93 octane gas and is way quicker than you'd expect it to be. This mean ride has been lovelying enjoyed by its current owner for the last five years and has been well cared for. There are estimated to be around 2,000 miles on the rebuild engine and transmission with an estimated 140k on the body. This Biscayne is ready to hit the strip hard!
