Description:

1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne super

Up for bid is a 1972 Chevrolet (Super Cheyenne) C-10 short bed truck. It has a 69-70 front grille and bumper on it. This truck has a built 406 Small Block Chevrolet motor in it with Camel Hump heads. The truck definitely hits a lick and then some. It sounds very tough definitely a ground thumper. It gets stares and complements everywhere I drive it. It runs and drives great it is very reliable. I have owned this truck for about 3 years now. I had the motor built and installed by a local shop and it has approx.10,000 miles on it since the build. Some of the performance parts installed are theComp Cams (Thumper series), Flat toppistons, chrome high rise victor jr intake, holley 750 double pumper carb, heads have been ported and polished to the intake, roller rockers, stainless headersand more. It has a set ofcustom naughty boyhydro dippedvalve covers and air cleaner. It has a nice set of wheels and tires with brand new centers (the rims are American Racing Outlaw IIs). The transmission is a built turbo 350 with a 3000 stall converter. The transmission shifts great.

For the interior it has a GT Grant steering wheel, later model Silverado seat that is comfortable, newer dash pad, digital oil, temp gauges. The gas gauge works. It has the factory automatic steering column in it.New JVC sound system CD Player with AUX cord. New speakers installed on kick panels.Works great and good sound. The lights all work I recently installed euro LED tail lights. Also it has euro side marker lights with LED bulbs. The truck has new 3in single chamber exhaust that exit at the rear and are turned down. Again the truck sounds amazing definitely one of the best sounding motors I've had. It also has a lowered stance 4/6 inchdrop done withlowering springs and shocks kit. It does have Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. Also the truck is 5 lug 5x5 pattern from the factory. The heat works andit has a new heater core and new heater hoses. The truck still has the original fleet side trim on it and itis a originalfactory short bed.

This has always been a southern truck so it has a good solid frame and the undercarriage is in good shape. On the exterior it does have rust it will need restorationto be a show truck. This is a factory Cheyenne Super which is a rare option for a 72'. I have the clear NCtitle in hand in my name for the winning bidder. I have invested a lotinto this truck over theyearsthey are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. The truck does have a header leak and is due for a front end alignment. The truck can be driven home I do drive it weekly and sometimes daily. If you have any other questions just ask. Thanks for viewing!
