1949 Chevrolet 3100 Advance Design Half Ton Short Bed 5 Window Pickup Truck. Remarkable patina. Clear North Dakota Title. Selling withNo Reserveto the highest bidder.
This Chevrolet Advance Design 5 Window is a very desirable truck with a very nice look to it. The floorboards are average for one of these suffering with the usual corrosion found at the edges where the floor joins the A pillars. There is also rust at the lower parts of the A pillars as often seen on these. Otherwise it is very solid. The rust is probably due to it spending the past 15 years sat outside in a field and not in a barn, but this is probably what has given it its awesome patina. There are very few farm work related dents compared to most of these unrestored trucks of this vintage, it is a pretty straight example. The tailgate is unfortunately missing. The original wooden bed floor is mostly missing due to deterioration through age. The corner window glass is removed but in excellent condition. It has the added desirability of having the chrome grille which is in good shape. Overall this is a good example of the very hard to find and desirable 5 window Chevrolet Half Ton truck from the Advance Design era.
The interior is complete and in respectable condition for its age and is complete.
Mechanically this truck is complete but does not run and has not ranin 15 years.
The truck comes with two additional rear fenders, that are in better condition than the ones on the truck.
All the tires hold air and it rolls freely.
I can not emphasize enough how impressive this find is. Seldom do we find half ton un-restored 5 window trucks of this era, they're very few and far between and far less common than the 3 window examples. If you decide to use an alternative shipper, please make them aware if the vehicle is a 'non-runner' and, therefore, will require a winch for loading and unloading. We are not responsible if you book a shipper who is incapable of loading the vehicle.
