Description:

1964 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier

This is my 1964 Greenbrier I am selling. It is a very nice driver quality van that runs like a top and does not leak any oil. I have more than a dozen old cars including two other Corvairs and this is the only one that doesn't leak. It is a four speed and two brand new carburetors built by the guy in Florida that sells them on ebay (and they are very nice -- I think I paid $400 each). It is a strong runner.
The van also comes with a brand new houndstooth interior. It has six -inch memory foam pads covered to match the interior with a plywood covered platform that is easily removable if you don't want to use it. The van comes with a third row seat that has not been recovered, but the guy that did mine could do it to match for about $250. I was going to have him do some curtains, but we just never got around to it (too many cars and too many projects).
This van has brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them. The van was painted about 12 years ago is very presentable with a few small scratches and chips. And the chrome bumpers look to be original. It has a smaller steering wheel on which I was going to change back to original but I kind of like it now. The original steering wheel goes with the van. It also has what I believe to be the original glass all the way around. It is good, but there are a few small scratches on a couple of the side ones. There is nothing missing from the van other than the door arm rests (I may have them, I'm just not 100 percent sure).
Our plan was to use this van for some long weekend trips to do some camping like you would have in the 1960s, but we are building a new house and I have promised to down size (plus, I have a 1961 Corvair panel van we can use).
If you have any questions on any of this, please let me know by sending an email through ebay and I will do my best to answer you as soon as possible. Delivery might be possible. If interested, just ask and we will see. Thanks and good luck.
