1957 Chevy 3100 Short Bed Big Back Window Starting @ Just $1957 With NO RESERVE.
Bought from the estate of original owner. Unfortunately, upon the late owners passing, the family got some bad advice and salvaged the title as a more cost effective way to contend with past registration fees and penalties. NO ACCIDENT history can be detected anywhere on the truck or frame.
Restored a few decades ago, then stored for the last several years, truck was never used after. I acquiredthis one covered in dust from storage, but running excellent. In classic, old rancher style for the 70's/80's, this one has been converted to run on Propane, and does so very nicely. Starts right up, first try, cold or worm, and purrs. Runs, drives, shifts, steers and stops nicely. I have had it on the freeway a few times and it does 55-60mph comfortably. It is actually set up to be able to switch from gas to propane however the switch for fuel is missing.
It will need a few little things set up/finished. Most everything works though, such as lights, high and low beams, brake lights, radio, ignition, parking brake, speedometer, odometer, amp gauge, oil pressure gauge, Propane gauge (gas fuel gauge & temp gauge non-op). Horn does not currently work, however it has everything in place to work (haven't looked into it further). Blinkers/wipers also are complete including wiring but not currently functioning.

Extremely thorough restoration done on a very sound original example. The Salvaged title and a few simple little chores left to finish on this one will save you thousands on a Macum or Barrett-Jackson auction example...and this one is likely nicer than most of them.
