1991 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

I have too many vehicles that I don't have time to drive and I'm tired of paying storage so a few have to go. This, and my custom truck, are both offered here on eBay. I've owned this Corvette for a little over 5 years and have only taken it out a couple of times. Upon deciding to sell it I had my local shop go through the car to make sure everything was in order. A copy of that report is available upon request. I can also provide a copy of a window sticker indicating the options, etc. that the car came with (not the original window sticker from 1991 though). This car is somewhat unusual in that it was originally ordered, and will come with, a hard top in addition to the soft top. Of the 5,672 convertibles built in 1991, 1,230 optioned the CC2 auxiliary hard top. The carpeting on the foot well speaker covers was starting to show some wear so I just had a brand new full Eckler's carpet set professionally installed along with having the speaker covers wrapped in perforated leather. I've also had both headlights rebuilt using brass gears instead of the OEM nylon. Those things having been completed, the car really doesn't need anything other than to be driven.
I'm offering the car with no excuses and a clean Illinois title...it's a really nice driver that anyone would be proud to own. I ran out of garage space so I'm paying to store the car in a secure, climate controlled location in central Illinois. I encourage a personal inspection prior to buying or making an offer and can make the car available to be seen. Note that while the pictures are from last fall that they were taken on the day that I moved the car from storage in the suburban Chicago area down to new storage in central Illinois (so those miles are in addition to what is shown in the photo of the dash). The car is stored under a heavy fleece lined cover which will come with the car.
