Description:

1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic Landau

This is my 1979 Chevrolet Malibu Classic Landau. This car runs and drives like a dream. The car is equipped with a 350 engine, not the original block, but the engine has Vortec heads and full-length headers. I was told the engine has stock internals. The TH350 transmission has been beefed up and it has a shift kit, the shifts are sharp and crisp. The car has a true dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The car also has an Eaton Detroit Locker differential with 3.42 gears. The suspension is all stock. The car has factory bucket seats and center console, all upholstered in black vinyl. The interior is completely intact, nothing is missing. All of the exterior trim is present, except for one of the stainless pieces for the windshield, but I'll have this piece as soon as I feel like making a trip to the local G-body graveyard. The car was repainted once many years ago and the paint does show weathering, but it's presentable. The car does not have air conditioning, but only the compressor is missing. All of the lights and gauges are functional. There is no bondo or body filler on this car. The floor pans, trunk pan, quarter panels, and door jambs are all solid. Overall, this car is in stupendous condition! On a scale of 1 to 10, realistically, I'd give this car a solid 7.

This is a 40-year-old antique classic and these cars appreciate in value every year. If you want to buy a classic car to build up as its value increases, this is the condition you want the car to be in. These fourth-gen Malibus were small commuter cars, though the bodies were used in Nascar, these cars were not marketed or meant to be muscle cars or performance cars. However, the fourth generation A-body Malibu is one of the most sought-after drag and pro street cars in the classic car enthusiast market. People have been modding these Malibus for decades, and their lightweight, compact bodies and classic box-style appearance makes it easy to make these cars fast and beautiful. I'm only selling this car because I need a truck, but I don't want two cars, so I'm selling this one to replace with an El Camino.

This car does not have a title. I purchased the car without a title. No title is required to register vehicles 1985 and older in Georgia. Check your state's vehicle registration laws before you inquire about this vehicle.

All sales are final and this vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty. I will not accept payment via PayPal. I will only accept payment via Zelle or cash in-person. No, I will not accept a check.
