this is a running and drivable vehicle. it should be checked for safety concerns before putting on the road. my test drive with it revealed that the brakes felt great, it steered like a 57 chevy, the transmission worked properly, and the engine ran properly. frame is in good condition everywhere i have looked. according to the owner before me the miles were in the 80s. he sent the car to a body shop for paint and when he got it back the miles were over 100K. he believed that the odometer had been tampered with or replaced or they put a lot of miles on it, therefore it now has a odometer discrepancy, if you would like to come see the vehicle that is possible. if you choose not to i will not be responsible for unhappy people. this vehicle has spent most of its life in Texas. to the best of my knowledge there were 3 owners prior to me. the transmission is said to be rebuilt and works as it should.engine has been replaced. it is believed to be the original transmission with reverse located at the bottom as they were built. located in the back of the car is a extra windshield, a windshield installation kit, a replacement window for the side windo, a carpet kit and a rear bumper.i have not checked them for proper fit, quality or damage.car has some rust and body filler with some examples as the photos reveal. amazingly the lip of both fenders and quarter panels feels original.floor boards should be at least partially replaced. local pickup only. selling as is. $500 deposit due at the time of sale. balance due in cash or verifiable certified check within 10 days of sale. verifiable means you cannot stop by right after purchase with a certified check and expect me to release it immediately. if you want that to happen you need to aquire it at my bank and present it to me while they are still open.car needs to be picked up within 30 days of sale. car is located in Toledo Ohio
