Here is a great running truck in very, very nice condition. It is originally from Georgia. It was driven to Mn in 1999 and stored in dry storage until 2016. It has had one repaint, and is 95% Rust-free top to bottom. This truck has all original sheet metal and is extremely straight and original. there are a few minor things that could be done...washer fluid spray not working, needs a blower switch knob, and horn not working. I have a Mn title in my name. The serial number on the frame matches Vin tag. The following work has been done in the last year:
1. Engine: 250 6cyl has been rebuilt top to bottom, everything on the engine is either new or rebuilt. It was bored .30 over. It runs fantastic. The engine bay is detailed and all wiring, vacuum hoses, etc have been throughly replaced and checked. 2. Transmission: Muncie 3spd transmission has new input & output bearings, seals and gaskets. The clutch and u-joints are new. The Rearend is its original 4:11, lots of low end torque.3. Brakes: all around new brakes. All 4 drums, front & back pads, wheel cylinders, and front brake hoses are new. All springs and brake components have been cleaned and replaced where needed with new brake fluid.4. The body is in great condition, paint has some chips, and a few very small spots where paint is bubbling. The inside of box is amazingly straight. There are only a few very minor dents. Sheet metal on this truck is in great condition.5. Interior is original and very good condition.6. Tires are like new, both doors have new weather stripping, roll up windows have all new seals and felt. The fuel tank is new and radiator was cleaned and is in excellent shape. The left and right front inner and outer wheel bearings and races are new. New battery, new muffler....
lots of new parts and work done to this truck to make it a extremely nice, reliable classic truck to enjoy. I have driven it about 400 miles since all work was done with no problems. It runs down the road straight and smooth and engine & tranny function great.
Its not perfect, but all around, its a fantastic truck with only minor imperfections. For the money, it would be difficult to find a nicer one.
