If you do not have a way to transport this vehicle, do not bid. Although short term storage is not a problem.Vehicle must be paid in full within three days after auction ends, whether you pick it up or not. We are listing this 1981 Chevy half ton, short bed truck with a $1.00 starting bid and no reserve.We took thistruck in on trade and I will give you all the informationI know about it. The truck comeswith a clean, clear Tennessee title. The paint on the truck looks to be mostly original. Starting with the body, it is clean and straight with the exception of the front fenders. Previous owner of the truck drove itoff a trailer with no ramps. The cab mounts are very nice. There are some minor rust issues which I took detailed pictures of, there is no other rust on the truck other than what pictures you have. The frame is clean, rust free and uncut. The front end under thetruck has been completely rebuilt. The interior in the truck is clean and original. Please take your time and blow up all the pictures and look over them and determine for yourself. The brakes have been rebuilt all the way around. The driveline in the truck is a Chevrolet 350, 3 speed manual transmission and limited slip rear.The motor runs strong but does smoke. I've owned this motor for roughly five years and ithad absolutely no issues when I pulled it, but it did sit on a stand for those five years.With that being said it may stop smoking after you drive it a little bit but I'm not going to guarantee it. The transmission shifts just as it should and thetruck has a complete new clutch kit in it.The truck also has new dual exhausts from the manifolds back. As you can see in the pictures the truck comes with two brand new front fenders and roughly 3/4 of a gallon of paint and materials. As you can see in the picture there is a small spot cut out in the front fender that was sent to the paint shop to get an exact match.
As far as what I know the truck needs- some tires, the bracket that holds the throttle cable and an alignment due to the front end work. Once again, please do not bid if you cannot follow through with my terms. Payment is due within three days of auction end and short term indoor storage is not a problem.
