1986 Chevrolet Short Bed Silverado C10, 100% Original, 1 Owner, Great Investment

1986 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado

I am putting my 1986 Chevrolet Silverado C10 truck up for sale. It would take me years to find another one exactly like it in this price range. I cannot put into words how nice this truck is to be all original. You have to see this truck in person to see the fine details of it.This truck was bought brand new and kept in my area all its life by the same person. I know everything about this truck and anything that I say about it or am claiming is the truth. This is not a multiple owner truck where guesses or claimsare made about it. I personally knew the original owner. This would be a great addition to a collection for someone who likes original vehicles, or if you have the ability to keep it in the shape it is in currently, you will double your money as an investment in a matter of years. This is a lifer North Carolina truck and has a clean title here.

Here is some important points of the truck:

Mechanical:

Has the original numbers matching sbc 305 and 700r4 transmission. Needs absolutely nothing. Has been OCD maintained all its life. Will start up and run with ease no matter how long it sits and will run 70+ on the highway for hours or cruise around town no problem. The truck itself and drivetrain have 116,000 miles on it, and that is known, not a guess. I could very well claim it only has 16,000 on it and it would be believable. That is how nice it is. Many people do that on these trucks since the miles don't roll over but I am not one of them.

Body/Exterior:

This is by far the nicest point of this truck. ENTIRE painted exterior is original. Has never been ruined by a body shop. What you see was how it was on the lot at the dealership in 86. Absolutely no rust on the body and never has been. There is not even one ounce of patina and the paint is not thin in any places. Will still glisten and shine after a nice detail. You honestly need to see the truck in person. Pictures do it no justice. Was climate controlled garage kept and babied its entire life. Every emblem, chrome exterior piece, bumpers, weather stripping, tailgate plate, you name it is original and is not showing substantial wear. Absolutely perfect to be an original truck thathas more than 300 miles on it. It does have some normal rock chips around rocker areas and such, and only has one noticeable dent on top of tailgate. Other than that, there is no issues at all on the body.

Interior:

Another absolute gem part of the truck. Seat was never sat on. Had sheet sowed around the bench seat that protected it. No rips stains or anything. Carpet is still in mint condition. Every button, knob, light etc work as they should and nothing is missing or out of place. Original steering wheel. Door panels have hardly any fading and no peeling what so ever. Again it's hard for me to put into words how nice it is. Dash does have a few cracks in it from the foam just getting brittle over time

Wheels/Tires/Underbody

Has good life name brand Michelin tires wrapped around the original rally wheels. Wheels are dang near perfect. Underneath the truck is super solid. The frame was undercoated and bought as an extra option when purchased. I have the original document showing that. Frame still looks new in certain areas. Still has sparetire and the hanging apparatus for it. Original exhaust. Well taken care of truck

Options

This is a Silverado edition truck it is almost optioned out besides not having power windows and locks. Many of the extras can be seen on the id card pic but the main points are

• A/C and heat that work as they should
• Dual fuel tanks that work which is pretty rare on these
• Original AM/FM radio that is still perfectly crisp and picks up many stations
• Power Steering
• Front disk with power brakes
• Sliding Glass
• Heavy Duty Steering
• The list goes on

Miscellaneous

Hardly any of these trucks come with these anymore. I have a huge amount of original documents from dealership, etc that come with the truck and show the who/what/when/where about this truck. I also have service receipts showing when new tires were put on, things on engine were serviced, etc. Records will come with this truck that tell it's story and also add value to it in my opinion.

Again, it is very hard for me to put into words to the extent of how nice this truck is. For you people that see the true value in what it takes to keep a truck like this in original form, you would be amazed seeing this truck in person. It could compete with many trucks that have been restored. And this truck hasn't been put back together from a LMC catalog either. Everything on it is genuine OEM from the start. I hate to let this truck go as I stated before it would be very hard to find one like it again for the same price. But I am looking to fund other things with the money I have tiedup in this truck.Prices are going to continue to go up andtrucks in this type of condition will be highly sought after. It will be worth a lot more one day if kept exactly how it is.

Price

I am a tad negotiable on the price being asked for cash offers. However it will have to be fairly close for me to part ways with it. I'm not going to send it on just to get somemoney out of it being in the shape it is in. It is not one of those trucks. I also have a ton in the truck and is not a truck I stole and am looking to make a quick buck off of. I bought it to keep and enjoy and use as an investment. The family knew what they had and also had emotional connections with it so it was not let go of for next to nothing. So if you have cash and think you can put in a respectful offer lets talk.
