You are viewing a Beautiful example of this 1964 Chevy Corvette Stingray Convertible. The car has only 43,564 miles on the Body and 2500 miles on the fresh mechanical restoration. This 1964 Corvette now has Modern day comforts of Larger Disc Brakes with 4 piston caliper, The Original 327 4 speed was replaced with a New 383 Stroker motor and a TKO 5 Speed . It now drives with ease and has Monster power and incredible braking . This car was restored to be a nice high quality driver not a trailer queen. The pictures speak for its condition and for its age its in amazing condition and the new owner will be very pleased.
The car had a repaint about 5 years ago and it looks great . The paint is very glossy and the body is straight. The chrome on the car is like new. The undercarriage is spotless and rust free as it was a Fl car its entire life and always garaged. Overall The car show's very well and is an amazing daily driver or car you can take to your local car show.
The black soft top is brand new and was just replaced by me. It goes up and down with ease.
The interior is all Original except for the Brand new Leather seats that I just installed. They are so soft and it smells like a new car . The carpet is perfect as is the door panels and dash and console. The gauges are all in tact and working properly. The flip open head lights motors are new and they work with ease. There is a AM/Fm CD player in the glove Box with rear speakers mounted on the floor of the rear compartment. The original radio is still in the dash . The steering wheel is also new and looks beautiful in every way. Overall the interior show's like new and very luxurious.
Mechanically she is amazing. The previous owner replaced the Original 327 4 speed with a New 383 Crate motor . It has a Edelbrock intake with a 750 carb . MSD 6 k ignition. Headman headers flowing out to original style mufflers. The car sounds great. The brakes were upgraded with SSBC Big Brake kit 4 piston Calipers and Slotted rotors. Its stops amazing. The rest of the suspension is tight and the car holds the road very well. The transmission was also replaced with a Tremec Tko 5 speed. The car now drives much nicer and has a 5 th gear for quiet and smooth highway driving. As for the power in the motor its incredible. This car will burn the tires at 40 mph in 2 nd gear. Its super fast yet super tight . I would say a mix of Old Classic lines with modern day upgrades. The tires are Brand new and they sit on Original Style wheels with New Spinner, All Fluids were just replaced and the car needs nothing. Just put gas in it and Go.
So if you have been searching for a Quality 64 Corvette and one you can drive anywhere and have the performance of a true classic then here is the car for you. These car's range from 30's to over 120 k depending on condition. I would say my car is a Excellent example and and amazing drivers car. I am pricing it to sell. It will not last long. This car makes the Perfect Christmas Gift being red with a black leather interior and Black top.
