Description:

1986 Chevrolet C-10 Silverado

Here's your chance to own a rare piece of 100% original blue collar history. I have up for sale my C10 truck. Every piece on this truck is original, untouched and well kept. Thiswas a true original one owner when I purchased it. It was bought brand new by a gentlemen in NC and has stayed here it's whole life. He passed away roughly two years ago and I purchased it from his daughter who no longer wanted it. It was garage kept and absolutely babied its whole life. It was explained to me it was his pride and joy, even making his wife's car sit outside so his truck could be kept in the garage. I have babied it and kept it inside ever since as well. I have a large amount of original documents showing the original purchase from dealership etc and service receipts for this truck over the 30 years of its existence. It is truly one of a kind.

Here is a descriptive break down of the truck:

Mechanical: 115,000 actual and original miles. Original 305 small block and 700r4 transmission. Truck runs like a top and starts up on command. Does not leak any fluid whatsoever. Will run 75 down the highway for hours or just cruise around town and turn heads while you're at it. A/C and power steering belt squeals on initial start up but quits fairly quickly. It's not enough for me to have changed it yet.

Body: ORIGINAL PAINT, I cannot express into words how clean and well kept this truck has been. I have owned a few of these and never had one that was 100% original. Almost always something has been fixed. But not on this truck, it is also 100% rust free and has never had any. Been a southern truck and garage kept. This truck has been babied but also used. Has a few nicks here and there with only one noticeable dent on top of tailgate. Others you have to almost be on top of to see. Bed has a slimline cover over it I'm not a huge fan of but have kept it on. Bed has also been used but has a rubber mat that has protected a majority of it. I dare say to find one of these square bodies in this condition, for sale, you would have to look a long time for.

Interior: Once again phenomenal shape. No ripsin seat or stains in carpet anywhere. He kept a purpose sowed sheet over the seat to protect it. No cracks in windshield. Everything works on this truck as well as the dual tanks switch. Dash has some cracks as usual. A/C, heat, radio etc work. A/C could use a charge to be colder but has been enough for me.

Underbody: Very clean, no rust, and no leaks. Still includes spare tire.

Wheels and tires: Has nice Michelin tires wrapped on the original rally wheels. Tires still have good tread life on them all around. I also have, and what I think one of the coolest things, two studded snow tires on rally wheels in the bed of this truck. You hardly see those things anymore these days.

Options: This is a Silverado package truck. You can see in the id card it is a highly optioned truck while really only missing power windows and locks to be absolutely decked out. Main options include PS, PB, disk brakes, tilt wheel, A/C, heat, am/fm radio, rally wheels, list goes on.

Conclusion: I could go on and on about this truck all day. I have tried to describe it in detail the best I could. It is just an amazing time capsule I have enjoyed. I have also went to great lengths to keep this truck in amazing shape as well as keeping the originality of it. There are too many of these square bodies out there that have been pieced together and ruined by numerous owners. You will be very hard pressed to find one like this anywhere else in this country and it be for sale. So contact me ASAP if you think you want to own it before someone else beats you to it!

I feel like the price I'm asking is very fair for what this truck is and what these things are bringing these days. I have had a few of these so I feel like I know the market pretty well. Many people are throwing lowering kits and wheels and tires on some and asking as much or more for them with a body that is no where near in this condition. It's my opinion but I think an original, untouched, and a known history is worth more than a majority of these as it's just hard to come by. With that being said, I will entertain relatively close and serious offers. However do not test me. I will not just get rid of this truck for any amount. I have a lot in this truck and was no where near a "deal" for me when I bought it. And I will only accept cash for this truck, no forms of paper or electronics will be accepted.

I will also look at trades, but again have some sense about it. I mainly like old Chevrolet trucks and muscle cars of any kind. I will also do a partial trade on a 20ft or so car trailer with cash added.
