Description:

1976 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Street

I don't know a lot about this car because I've only had it for a few months. I love this car a lot and don't want to part with it, but unfortunately I have to get rid of it for personal reasons. What I can say is this. It is very fast and a blast to drive. This car commands attention wherever it goes. It starts with the incredible rumble you here as it gets close and continues with the "murdered out" theme that it carries. It is very easy to drive. Unlike most Pro Street cars, everything is wired up through the ignition. Just turn the key and go. It fires up every time you turn the key and is very dependable.

ENGINE: This is a fresh rebuilt 502BBC crate motor that produces roughly 600 HP ( I know the valve covers show it to be a 572, but the previous owner believes it is only a 502 ). It has a Be Kool radiator with 2 electric fans that keep it running around 190 degrees. It also has a separate vacuum pump hooked up to the power disc brakes to help it stop on a dime. It has a Mark high performance power steering system. I was told that the engine is set up for nitrous, however, it has never had nitrous on it. Also, it runs on pump gas.

DRIVETRAIN: This car has a fresh rebuilt TH400 transmission with a shift kit and a mild converter. The rear end is a narrowed 12 bolt posi rear end. The previous owner told me that it has 3:73 gears, however, I believe it's probably 4:11. It has weld wheel rims all the way around with Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/R tires, 26x8.00x15LT on the front and 31x18.00x15LT on the rear. It also has a 4 link suspension.

EXTERIOR: This car has a full tied in frame with a 6 pt roll cage. It is also tubbed to fit the massive wheels in the back. This was done professionally before I got the car. The body is laser straight and has a phenomenal black paint job on it. I would give the paint a solid 8.5 to 9 out of 10. It has a brand new 16 gallon fuel cell that I put in along with the new sending unit so the gas gauge is pretty accurate. Also, the rear spoiler has been fiberglassed to the body to give it a more sleek design.

INTERIOR: This has a black interior including nice bucket seats. There is a Quick Silver shifter which is easy to operate. There is also an AM/FM Retro-Sound stereo with a nice set of 6x9 speakers in the rear. The dashboard is an aftermarket cluster with Auto Meter gauges, which all work fine. The odometer shows 166 miles on it, which is not accurate in regards to the true mileage of the car. It is accurate in regards to the rebuild. The windshield wipers also work, as well as all lights.

Now for the legal stuff. This car is sold as is and has no implied warranty. I encourage possible buyers to check this car out prior to purchase, as there is no returns.
