Hello Bidders & Big Fin Fans,This 1959 CHEVROLET KINGSWOOD was just taken out of storage and has been gone through and cleaned and is now ready to either take it up a notch, or enjoy as show/driveroriginal! Now currently in Colorado thisa great car to invest in today, as these are very hard to come by and very hot on the market, if you can find one. With the Classic Fins & Lines, with thelooks of Flying while standing still !This design was allby the great Mr. Harley Earl, GM Designer extraordinar...! (seen below)

NOW MORE details about this KINGSWOOD...

Body and Paint; ThisCHEVROLET KINGSWOODwas purchased in Denver, CO.in late 1958 and was built at the ST LOUIS,MO plant in late 1958. It Spent it's early life inbeautifuldowntown Denver areathen was put away into storage since 1979! The first owner put low miles and this wagon was kept very dry and clean. The second owner bought the car in 1985 and re-registered the car in 1987 in Denver. The restoration was slow due to health, but was finally done in the mid 90's. The car was the last owners joy and he had many long hours of labor and restoration work in the car. His health faded towards the end of the restoration and then the carwas put back into storage and only used on rare occasions until now in 2017. The car was pulled out of the garage, "Garage Find" as they say, then gone over as it was found and freshened up and buffed and cleaned. Some items were finished up to complete the restoration and it is now ready to go. Some cars history, The car has had only one repaint in1992. IT SHOWS SOME SCRATCHES, NICKS,AND TOUCH UPS OVER THE YEARS.But it buffed out good and shows very good for a daily driver / local show type car, that can go get the groceries and go to the "drive in" and have a lot of fun in with the kids! The body isvery straight and very dry, It would be fair to say it was 95% rust free from top to bottom, seams, welds, main floors, braces, cargo area etc..! One of the nicest wagons I have ever seen as a original metal 1959 Chevrolet car! Onlytwo areas of light cosmetic application repair were found, during the inspection. The overall body is solid as a rock, floors, braces, panels, frame, all original! The car as is as shown with no major body damage ever to the car. All panels are believed to be original. The two areas of repair which was very minor, was the drivers lower rear 1/4, some light welding and new metal replaced. The lower front headlight buckets. Very good for any 59! As the car sits right now, no showing rustouts anywhere.

Interior: The interior is now allredone in the 1959 Big Fin theme pattern from Chevrolet. The colors are nice with very good craftsmanship shown in the seams and quality of materials. All new seats pads, headliner, visors, welting & very nice newpadded dash insert. The door panels arenew also as well as the all the cargo area and top pad areas.Carpet is all new and is in every area, including under the seats and the cargo area. Sound pad underneath. All handles and chrome inserts are in great shape.

Working Component Options: Power Rear Window works, key and switch and front dash switch, lights, radio, 2speedwipers with washers do not work yet?, fan high low for heater is good, side vents work, no clock, dome lights work nice- all doors, glove box works good, locks, door handles work, vent windows open close with cranks, high beam indicator good, the blinker indicators and signal switch, needscancel bar,AM radio no speaker truns on with light,All doors, gate, shut tight, lock, and the keys all fit and work properly.

Glass & Weather-Stripping: Glass is all good, nice EZ-EYE,overall nice glass tinted from factory. Rear side Glass VERY GOOD! front windshield very good! Weather stripping, door original and in good shape.

Chrome, Pot Metal, Stainless: The bumpers are all rechromed and have some slight scuffs here and there driver show condition. The Side Stainless trim is the worst part of the car. 8 pieces. This car deserves a new stainless to upgrade it. On ebay now for 1300! The stuff that is there is ok now and all there, but has dings and not polished very well.

Mechanical: Engine and Transmission, this is a 76,000 mile car from every aspect we see thisshould becorrect. Everything under hood looks original, Engine fired right up after sitting for a fewyears. The fluids have been changed, oil, radiator, no smoking. The engine was rebuilt in 1990's according to the sonby Napa Engine services in Denver. Runs soundsstrong for the blue flame 6's! Very good engines and is all matching numbers. Brakes are good,E-Brake works GOOD. Tires are Bias Ply Firestones and have very good tread, but they have sidewall discoloration and are crack-ie on the sides. I would not do a highway trip with these most likely just old from 1988 or so?

Overall: This 1959Chevrolet KINGSWOODhas got to be one of the last remainingclean 95% rust free3rd seatersout there. You will never find one as solid as this one in this beautiful original shape with thenice factory options. This Classic is a great car with lots of potential still left for profit or just to enjoy. The Title is clear, state of Colorado. Thank you for looking.
