Description:

1972 Chevrolet Corvette Leather

My War Bonnet Yellow Vette is a spectacular driver. I bought the car from the owner of Harbor Corvette restoration in Erie, PA. He did a fantastic job of repainting the car its original unique color. The finish is really beautiful with only one door ding since I have owned it. When I bought the car three years ago, I knew the engine was the original with matching numbers but I did not understand that Harbor had changed the intake manifold and carburetor. I found their modification to make the car run too rich and because they also give the original intake, I had the engine put back to 100% original -- points and all. I have all the receipts for everything I have done since I have owned it. The car runs beautifully and I drive it almost every day in the summer – of course it is properly stored in the winter. My family and I are moving to NYC and I would like to see someone else enjoy the car instead of leaving it in storage. I have double the starting asking price in the car (over $30k between what i purchased it for and putting original engine back to original.). I am trying to given you as much information as possible about the car so you can buy it with confidence.
