1959 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Up for auction is a 1959 Corvette Project Car. Car comes with a clear PA title and attached VIN Plate. 283 Block Cast# 3737739 with X58 heads Cast# 3748770. Rust free AZ chassis complete with rear end and front end suspension (not installed). Body is not attached - it is a "Frankenstein" made up of rear and front clips from two different cars. Rear is in great condition - just needs a good clean up (note it was originally a black car - see photo). Front clip is in far worse condition and will require a fair amount of work to repair previous poor work and cracks in fiberglass, but nothing a good fiberglass man can not fix. Does have two nice inner front fenders and a complete firewall. Included is a complete second floor section with transmission hump to enable floor repair. Also comes with both doors, trunk lid (cracked), center glove box, dash, center radio housing, steering column (not attached) and gas lid. This is a significant project - not for the faint at heart, but an opportunity to buy a 59 Vette at significantly below current market value. I purchased all the pieces of this car with the intent on doing a complete rebuild. Too many other projects forces me to sell this one to someone else who has the same vision I had and skill sets to be able to bring it back to life. Car is being sold with "No Reserve" with top bidder winning the car. I will assist with shipping, but buyer is responsible for arranging pick up in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
