1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

Chevrolet 3100 Truck - Resto-Mod. Clean truck with beautiful buffed out patina paint on good sheet metal. Mechanically this truck is brand new.It has a professionally built 235ci motor w/ period correct 50's speed equipment. Lots of chrome and polished aluminum parts. It has a 5 speed T-5 transmission with anopen drive shaft and an 8" Ford Rear-end. The front end is a "Fat Man"Mustang II IFS with disc brakes and dropped spindles. 2 sets of wheels and tires come with the truck for your desired look. New EZ wiring kitprofessionally installed. New vintage modern stereo. Needs a new sending unit for the gas gauge and a speedo cable that I haven't got to yet. E-Brake by Lokar. Engine – 1958 Chevrolet 235 .030 (all engine work by Machine shop). Camshaft – Howards. Lifters – Solid. Pistons – Venolia. Ignition – Mallory Electronic. Coil – Mallory. Exhaust – Custom Dual Exhaust with Smithy’s. Headers – Fenton Headers …Jet Hot Coated. Duel Carburetors – Dual Carter Weber w/elect. Chokes. Air Cleaner – finned from Obrien Truckers. Manifold – Offenhauser...Dual intake manifold - with custom Phenolic plates. Wheels – (2 sets) 15” red Powder coated Solids with Rings & Caps and a Set of 15” Chrome Smoothies with Spider Caps. Tires – Coker Classic 6.7-15 front, L78-15 Rear. Oil Filter – Remote finned Moon. Valve Cover & Side Cover – Offenhauser. Fuel & Oil Lines – Russell. Louvered hood, Engine compartment stripped and repainted, inner fender wells and radiator supports powder coated black. Electric fan installed. Bed wood = new pine painted flat black and stainless hardware. The 235 was completely rebuilt. The engine was hot tanked, bored .025 over. The block was decked at .015. The head was milled .100 thousands for compression. Egge pistons and rods, and ground the crank .010 under on the main and rod bearings. E-2 Howards cam, stainless valves, cleaned up the exhaust and intake ports. Howards dual valve springs were used and the motor was balanced. The Offy manifold was modified to be a direct for the Carter-Weber carbs without the use of adaptors plates and then re-polished. A Finned Obrien air filter was also used. jet hot-coated Fenton headers. custom rear blocks in order to move the 8" Ford rear-end into the center of the wheel well. black anodized AN fittings with black braided lines by Russell.
