Ultra Motorsports is pleased to offer this unique classic. 1954 was a very unique year for the Chevrolet pickup. This was the only year for some significant design changes. The windshield now curved one-piece glass without center vertical dividing strip. Revised steering wheel. Revised dashboard. Cargo bed rails, previously angled, now horizontal. Tail lights round instead of rectangular. Grille changed from five horizontal slats to crossbar design commonly referred to as a "bull nose" grille, similar to modern Dodge truck grille. Engine now 235 in³ straight-6. These features make the 1954 Chevy truck extremely desirable among collectors. This vehicle shows very well. The paint is very nice with no visible blemishes. There is one small crack in the bumper area. This small crack is detailed in the photos. Our shop can give a quote to repair upon request. The weatherstripping, glass, chrome, and trim are in excellent condition. It is very evident this vehicle was completely disassembled during the frame off restoration. The ORIGINAL 235ci straight 6 engine and 3 speed manual transmission are running smoothly. Our shop would be happy to perform a compression test upon request. This vehicle runs and drives down the road very well. All instruments are working as they should. The underside of the vehicle is clean and shows no evidence of rot or previous repair. The interior shows well. The bench style seat benefits from very subtle and tasteful custom accents. The dash is in excellent condition. This truck starts right up, idles, and cruises down the road with ease. Overall, this 1954 Chevy 3100 shows very well. This vehicle could be driven to any car show and certainly win a trophy while there. There is a high probability this truck would be the only 1954 Chevy 3100 Pickup at the car show as well.
