The original paint is holding up well. Being garaged all of its life, it has avoided the harshness of the sun. There are a handful of rock chips and minor scratches that come with anything that’s driven on the street occasionally. The window glass and factory wheels are perfect. New tires were just installed and the decals are in excellent shape.

INTERIOR:

As I mentioned, the factory new truck smell remains intact. The steering wheel still has the factory texture which is a strange feeling if you’ve driven many of these trucks with normal wear and tear. The upholstery is excellent as is every other surface on the interior. The factory air conditioning and radio still work like a champ.

MECHANICAL:

This particular 454 SS was fitted at the dealer with a Whipple Charger supercharger setup as well as the Belltech lowering kit. Everything functions exactly like it did when this truck was new in 1990-91. The pickup has excellent power, the 700R4 automatic transmission shifts firmly in each gear and with the supercharger it will impress you with its acceleration.
