1972 Monte Carlo Original Big Block Bucket Seat No Rust

Up for auction is a 1972 Monte Carlo original big block U code bucket seat car that someone spent a lot of money restoring. Unfortunately, they got caught in a hail storm and it did it's damage to the roof, hood, and two dings on the trunk. Sides were spared but did receive one hit each, as did the windshield. I believe 90% of these can be knocked out with paintless dent repair. I would not repaint the car but 3 or 4 hits did chip the paint. For the price you could drive this car as it is or have it repainted. It's up to you.
Body: Car is completely rust free minus a few pin holes in a small area of the trunk. No panels need replaced from rust on this car. Car was an Oklahoma Texas car it's whole life and it shows. Paint was done to a very high quality before it was in the hail storm. Really smooth down the sides and just a really nice paint job. Quarters are original, looks like there was a dollar bill size patch on the passengers side by the wheelwell, that's it. Doors, fenders, hood and trunk appear to be original to the car. Windshield was cracked by a hail stone, all other glass is good. Doors are shaved and open with poppers under the car. Drivers side gets stuck sometimes and needs adjustment, passengers side pops perfectly every time. Trunk also pops great.
Interior: Interior looks great, nothing really needed. Was restored and looks like to a high quality. Again, this is a real bucket seat car. Dash is from a Chevelle and has no cracks on the pad. Has tilt wheel.
Drivetrain: Engine is a great running 454. I drove this car 200 miles from Oklahoma to Texas on a 104 degree day with no issues whatsoever and no overheating. Be Cool Aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans keep it nice and cool and cost at least $1200.00 alone. Engine starts up every time without even giving it any gas. Flowmaster exhaust give this beast a wicked sound. Front tires are really big and will rub when wheel is turned full lock. On the highway cruising it never rubbed once.
Electronics: Everything seems to work. Oil pressure and Temp gauge are not hooked up for some reason but I'm sure it's something simple. Trust me, this thing roars and has no issues.
Overall you could goseveral different directions with the car. I would get as many of the dents pulled with paintless dent repair and just drive it like it is, but that's just me. Not many Monte's made in 72 with the 402 BB, 9900 out of 180,000. Of those 9900 most were bench seat cars as the Monte was more of a luxury car. This is a chance to own a great car with some cosmetic issues for a great price.
