For sale is my 1986 Chevrolet C10 Silverado short bed with 80k original miles on the chassis. The truck has just undergone a high level frame off restoration. Finished in original 1986 Frost White exterior color with Carmine Red interior. Loaded for the year interior options including power window, locks, cruise control, dual fuel tanks and air conditioning. This is hands down one of the nicest, no stories 1973-1987 GM Trucks out there.
Truck has never had any rust, all the panels are original to the truck. No aftermarket steel on the truck. Body was stripped down and refinished with a show winning quality repaint using PPG. Not a single nut or bolt has gone untouched. The frame was refinished in factory black. I can provide interested buyers with photos before and during the restoration to prove the quality of the truck and showing how solid it was before the restoration. All gaskets have been replaced with brand new, the windshield is new and the body trim is original to the truck. The bumpers are original, still can see the outline of the Murray Chevy sticker on the rear and could be show quality with a re chrome.
It is powered by an era correct 5.7L 350 V8, with the stock Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor, backed by a TH350 Automatic Transmission. Both have been gone through and serviced and are in great running condition. Everything works as it should.
The suspension has been gone through and anything needing replacement has been replaced. Shocks and brakes are brand new. Original Factory Rally Wheels have been refinished and fitted with new 255/70/15 tires.
The interior has been redone in original Carmine Red, everything has been gone through and works/looks like it should. Cruise, A/C, Intermittent Wipers all work, all gauges and lights work. A/C blows ice cold.
Fit and finish is better quality than stock throughout the truck, all gaps both on the exterior and interior are stock or better. Truck shows extremely well and gets attention everywhere it goes.
