50 years old and yet more beautiful than the day it left the showroom floor... 1966 Chevy Nova Hardtop (No Post). Deep black paint that looks wet and mirror like. Body is super straight with no dings or dents and with only a couple very minor imperfections. Black Interior is new and in great condition. MOTOR: Stock V8-350 crate motor, aprox 310hp. Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold, Edelbrock 600 CFM Carburetor, MSD Blaster 2 Ignition Coil, Stock Heads with Aluminum Valve Covers, Stock Radiator, Cast Iron RAM Exhaust Manifold, Glasspack Mufflers. Unknown mileage on motor (less than 5000 miles sinceI've owned it)... healthy with mild performance that runs clean and smooth.
TRANSMISSION: Turbo 350 with a mild shift kit and B&M Shifter. Stock 8.5" 10-Bolt Rear End. Suspension all original... Shocks and Springs were replaced before me owning the car... 6-7 years ago.
EXTERIOR: Body is super clean and very straight. No dings or dents throughout. Painted about5-6 years ago... PPG Deep Black base coat/clear coat. Looks incredible!! New steel Cowl Hood,new Grill,new Head Lights and Bezels,new Front and Rear Bumpers,new Side Mirror. All Trim and Emblemshaveeither been replacedor reconditioned.All windows are original with no major defects.. no cracks.. only a few scratches and water marks.Head Lights and Tail Lights work. Body, hood, roof, trunk, fenders, doors are all straight without dings or dents. Overall thiscar is very very clean and shows really well!! Now for the imperfections... Two very small chips on the upper front driver side fender (smaller than 1/8" in diameter, hardly noticeable at all), One 1/8" x 3/8" sized chip on the drivers side trunk lip/frame (just on the very edge), One 1/2" sized burr/scuff on the very bottom of the passenger door frame (not easily seen unless laying down looking upward at the bottom of the car), and lastly... rear window trim not laying down perfectly flat (corner/edge sticking up some). Please see pics.. I have provided shots of these imperfections showing them as they are so there will be nosurprises. All in all this car is flawless for being 50 years old!!
INTERIOR: Black. Everything has been replaced or redone. Original Seats Front and Backhave been Reupholstered. New Carpet, new Floor Mats, new Sill Plates, new Door Panels, new Dash Pad, new Headliner, new Rearview Mirror, new Sun Visors, new Kick Panels, new Sony Xplod detachable Stereo(with auxiliary for phone)and new Sony Xplod Speakers. New AutoMeter Sport Comp Silver Tachometer. One of a kind steel Gauge Bezel that fits the original radio insert with new AutoMeter Pro Comp Ultra-Lite Gauges (Water, Oil, Volts). Interior gauge lights work. Dome light does not work. Odometer does not work. Same black paint as the exterior... dash, interior doors and frame. Trunk interior is clean withno rust and splatter painted for afinished look.Interior is done right and looks amazing!!
RIMS/TIRES/BRAKES: New 17" Boyd Coddington Smoothie II Aluminum Rims with new Fierce HP Tires (Front: 215/45R17 - Rear: 245/45ZR17). Front: Disc Brakes (This conversion was done previous to me owning the car). Rear: Drum. No issues with stopping at all.
This Nova is a very clean and well kept car inside and out. Remember though its 50 years old... its not new.. its not perfect... but with that being said for and old car its in great condition!! I have lots of pictures.. if interested I can email them to you. I also have video of it running so you can see it runs and how it sounds.. again its a mild 350 but runs very well.
