1964 Cadillac Other Coupe LS Restomod

Looking to make an impact behind the wheel of a truly singular ride? This 1964 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe LS Restomod has you covered and then some! A merger of careful planning and skilled workmanship have transformed this Caddy into an absolute attention magnet that also happens to be equipped with a great array of well-chosen aftermarket components to bring its drivability to a whole new level. By the time this '64 came out, the coveted... Cadillac coupes were starting to slow down their big-fin ways, but one look at the profile and rear end of this long beauty and you can see that Cadillac wasn't quite finished with bold designs. When you look at this classic from the side, you'll immediately notice the amount of space separating the front and rear wheels, amplified by its distinctively low stance. The customization that's been applied here is equal parts creative and tasteful - this car looks like no other in the best possible way and yet still retains plenty of its original identity, which is a tough balance to strike. The Ebony Black paint draped over the exterior was applied not long ago and the job was done very well - it's got a consistently smooth, slick finish and a nice shine that follows you as you circle the long flanks of the car. There's tons of bright chrome too, including the gigantic front and rear bumpers, ornate front grille, and the long trim piece that splits the profile and breaks up the black paint just right, so the curb appeal of this '64 is at its absolute zenith. We have to admit, we can't stop gawking at this car. The restored black-and-white leather interior has been kept largely in its original configuration and, while you can see signs of minor use inside, both the front and rear bench seats still offer their customary sofa-like comfort and the door panels to each side offer ornate designs and are in wonderful condition. Just beyond the original 2-spoke steering wheel, the dash area is also looking very good, with the speedometer sitting behind the original lens, a brushed steel accent piece and a very clean looking dash pad running across the top, and a triple set of auxiliary gauges underneath that help monitor the engine's vitals. You'll also find a boomin' upgraded stereo, headlined by a Pioneer double din head unit that powers upgraded speakers and tweeters in the cabin, along with the big Kicker subwoofer in the trunk. Options include power windows, a power bench seat up front, and factory A/C that has been converted to take R134a refrigerant, although it does need a service. Out back, the cavernous trunk is in good order as well, and despite the large ported box that houses the subwoofer, there's still plenty of room to accommodate most travel plans. Plenty of modern, dependable power comes in the form of the fuel injected 5.3L LS V8 Vortec standing by under the hood. The LS was swapped in just 500 miles ago, and it only has 18k miles on the block in total, so it's very fresh and ready to power this beauty for many years to come. Augmented with a Comp Cams Mutha Thumpr cam and a Stage 1 fuel injection kit, it sparks to life with ease and hammers down plenty of horsepower, spinning the 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive behind it. The presentation of the engine is very clean and modern, with a slick aluminum intake, bright valve covers, a tidy induction system, and an aluminum radiator with an electric fan that keeps the whole show nice and cool. It's very solid underneath, although not dressed for show, and the Flowmaster dual exhaust system provides a great soundtrack to this already sinister black Caddy. A beefy suspension, power steering, and power front disc brakes ensure that the ride is a blast, and the stance sits perfectly on a set of 22-inch Boyd Coddington wheels wrapped in 265/35/22 performance radials. Well-crafted customization over a vintage foundation combines with a strong, dependable modern drivetrain to make this 1964 Caddy Series 62 Restomod a ride like no other. Call today!
