Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #2 (Stunning Near Perfect Example)

This is an absolutely gorgeous 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe Deluxe in excellent condition inside and out. This car is on consignment with us from a private collector locally here in town who is reducing cars in his collection. This car has been extremely well-cared for and maintained and is one of the finest '41 Cadillac Coupes you are ever going to find. The car has an older restoration but almost looks like it was done yesterday as it was an extremely high quality restoration and has definitely stood the test of time looking amazing. It is finished in striking Valcour Maroon Metallic exterior with a beautiful Tan Heather Cord interior. The car shows 51k miles on it and you can see it started as a very nice and clean southwest car as it is solid as a rock, straight as an arrow and totally rust-free. The underside of this car is just as clean as the exterior showing how great of a car it started out as and the care that has been given to it over the years. You cannot even begin to restore a car like this to this particular quality and fit and finish for the price we are asking for. It is ready to be shown at any Cadillac Club event or on tours as it shows beautifully and runs and drives out absolutely amazing. This is one of the finest examples of a 1941 Cadillac you will ever come across.

Exterior: *Condition #2

The exterior of this Cadillac looks absolutely stunning, finished in Valcour Maroon Metallic, with a super straight body and excellent fit and finish throughout. The paint was hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish and looks magnificent. In full-disclosure this car originally started as a factory black car but it looks absolutely amazing in its metallic Maroon finish. Every piece of chrome and trim on the car has been redone and looks absolutely gorgeous including the grille and hood vent grilles. All the pot metal trim on the fenders and grilles looks amazing with no pitting at all which is super rare. All of the stainless is beautiful, all the rubbers are in excellent condition and all the glass is crystal clear and gorgeous. Even the lenses look perfect as you can see that no expense was spared during this impeccable restoration. The only flaw on the exterior is a small spot on the left rear window chrome that has started to flake off but you don't really notice it and would be an easy fix. The sides are straight as an arrow and shows absolutely beautifully. It is sitting on an excellent set of Firestone wide white wall tires just like it did from the factory. This Cadillac is a real attention grabber and it is sure to please.

Interior: *Condition #2

The interior of this Cadillac is absolutely gorgeous and was redone all back to factory specs and looks like new. You will not find a nicer interior on a 1941 Cadillac. It has its factory correct Tan Heather Cord Interior with gorgeous painted woodgrain on the dash and door panels. The Bakelight steering wheel has been beautifully restored and really shows off. All the chrome and trim throughout the interior is absolutely stunning and shows amazing with no pitting at all. The door jams have been wonderfully detailed and feature chrome-plated hardware. Entering the doors on this Cadillac is truly like a time-warp into the showroom in 1941. It is just an absolutely gorgeous and meticulously restored interior and looks striking against the exterior. Everything appears to work including all of the gauges, the horn, the wipers, the heater/defroster, the AM radio, the courtesy lights and even the clock works which is unbelievable. Inside the trunk is very nice with its correct material, spare and jack and excellent weatherstripping. There are a couple stains on the bottom of the trunk liner but are hardly noticeable.

Mechanically: *Condition #2

Mechanically this Cadillac runs and drives amazing. It features its correct 346ci Flathead V8 with the highly desirable 3-speed manual transmission. For full-disclosure it does have a 1947 motor in it and not the original numbers matching 1941 motor but everything is correct as its the same engine and specs and you would never know without looking at the numbers. Under the hood is beautifully detailed to show car quality and is 100% correct. When you open the hood it looks like a show car throughout showing its beautiful engine in detail. It has an external fuel pump to help with starting after its been sitting for long periods of time. All of the brakes have been gone through and it stops on a dime. The suspension is super tight and rides like a dream. This car needs nothing mechanically, runs excellent and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. It is a true pleasure to drive this car and is will do unbelievably on any tours or car shows. You can tell this car was very-well maintained by the owner as it shows throughout.

Under Carriage: *Condition #2-

The underside of this Cadillac is extremely clean and nice. It appears to be totally rust-free throughout all of the original sheet metal. It has been very nicely detailed and looks fantastic. The underside of this car is no different than the top and that is that it looks phenomenal and shows amazing. It has an excellent exhaust system that sounds great, a new fuel tank and the suspension is super clean. Overall the underside is exactly what you would expect from a beautifully restored Cadillac.
