The body is 95% rust free. There is a spot the size of a half dollar on the passenger side floor pan. There is numerous little spots here and there, but no rot. I believe in my opinion all the sheet metal can be reused if decided to make the car a ten. The trunk has a little bit on the trunk floor pan but no rot. The car has door dings and a dent on the roof like a baseball hit it. I can tell it has had a drivers fender replaced at one time. No frame damage. The bright work is good. Right rear bumpertte needs some love. All the glass is perfect. Mint. No milking. Has its original paint and it wears its everyday clothes. Its a honest car.
The drivetrain is where I spent most of the time helping. I have replaced the brakes on all 4 corners, gas tank, fuel pump, rebuilt the carb, timing set, electronic ignition, cap, rotor, plugs, valva cover gaskets, intake gaskets, radiator, thermostat, tires, Transmission filter and modulator valve, rebuilt booster, master cylinder, all the filters. The car is cold natured, but it will go down the road great. It drives great, stops great, almost like new...almost. The choke could be electric to make it start better, but i wanted it original so i left it alone.
The interior is ok. Not a show winner, but it is complete. I replaced all the window motors. The headlight switch and dimmer switch is new. I have the owners manual and P.O.Plate. Everything works but the radio, clock, on the inside. The only thing That the car would need to make it 100% Mechanically complete are A/C and heat, power antenna works halfway up and down. Drive it like it is or restore it. I liked it cause it had little rust and its complete. I have the title. 979-324-5225
