1963 Cadillac Series 62

This car originally came from California and was brought to New Mexico in 1990. I'm currently selling the original 1963 black plates this car wore in 1990 in a seprate auction.It was owned by an older gentleman here in town and sat in his driveway unused for 10 years until I bought it.This giant boat of a car is a daily driver quality car that need only cosmetics to make it cherry.The body is rust free and straight.The chrome has no pitting.The headliner and rear seat are very nice but the front seat will require recovering.The door panels are nice bit have a few water stains each.The passenger side windows will need to be troubleshooted. The drivers side go down fine.The wipers do not activate with the switch. Signals and lights work fine.It has a fresh battery, almost new looking tires with no dry rot and deep tread.All the glass is good with no cracks. The windshield has one nearly invisible stone pock mark.The trunk is very clean and has a good spare.The car rides very quietly and has good power. The brakes have not been gone thru but it stops well.Power steering works fine.Starts right up when cold.The body has a few tiny scrapes and dings but no crash damage - study the pictures.The lower front bumpers under the headlights are always prone to rust since they collect road grime and hold moisture. This car's driver side lower is staright without any holes. The passenger side has developed a silver dollar sized hole which is invisible unless lying under the car. That is it for any sort of corrosion.While this might be driven home, it is old and you should be prepared for such a journey.It has no AC and if you are driving through the Mojave you will be hot. Fortunately the car is white and with the pilarless design driving around here in Santa Fe is not so miserable.Radio works.Original owners manual in original pouch and factory shop manual included!
