1987 Buick Grand National Regal

Up for sale is our 1987 Buick Grand National/Turbo Regal t-top car. For those who are new to these cars or ones who don't know much about the differences between the years of the cars. The 1987 Grand National is by far the #1 seller and the highest production at over 20,000 cars. These cars will sell for triple the price of a 84 GN. Expect to pay up for an average condition daily driver and up to 50k for a low mile show car. These were the best looking cars mainly because of the grill change and had way more safety options for that year. The horsepower was rated at 235 for all 1987 turbo models and the avg mpg is 25 depending on the options adding weight. Restoring one is a good option and can bring 25k to 30k fully restored stock on a GN model. The main concern with any Turbo Regal is what the previous owners did to the car to make it faster, o finding a bone stock car is not easy and expect to pay a premium if you do. It is a felony in the turbo Buick community to paint a GN a different color or replace the drive train with a non-turbo motor. When purchasing any GN 1984-1987 check the build sticker on the inside of the trunk for this option WE-2. This means black out trim and if it is not on the build sticker the car is a clone or a turbo Regal that has been made into a GN. In 1987 the T-Type Regal was phased out and it became the Turbo-T or Turbo T-Limited.. Almost all limited cars had chrome trim and some came with a small center console. Black trim was an option but very few were ordered. Very few cars had T-Tops! This car does:)
A beautiful daily driver, ast and priced to sell. This is a solid car, ith the 3.8 inter cooled turbo engine and the much sought after T-Tops. The interior and paint is good. The metal is straight and true and no rust issues at all with this Buick. Please take a look at the pictures to view overall condition. The odometer is reading 99,004.
The car has the following minor cosmetic issues as well as the ones noted above in my sellers description, here is some light scuffing and scratching on the passenger side of the vehicle. Typical minor chips around the nose. This is a 28 year old vehicle that was driven, ot just parked.
All in all an excellent representation of the '87 Grand National. It is not represented, or is it priced like a showcase Grand National. It is a beautiful example of a 1987 T-Top Turbo Grand National that can be used as a daily driver if the winning bidder is so inclined.Should you want to invest the money to restore it to showcase condition you would still make money when you were done with it.
