Selling for a friendis a straight black 1955 Buick Century 2DR Hardtop with documented 55,000 original miles. The current owner has cared for and maintained the vehicle since 1987, and the vehicle shows that he has truly pampered this carfor the last 32 years, further this car was for his wife to take to shows, and therefore extra care was involved with regards to anymaintenance and upkeep. Documentation shows he is the 4th ownerof the car, as it was originally purchased in San Antonio, Texas in April of 1955. The car came equipped with rear air-conditioning, that still blows hard and cold, if you have never seen this factory system, take a look at the rear clear vents shown in the interior pictures. The motor is a 322 CID 234 HP engine with an automatic transmission,power brakes, and sonamatic radio with front and rear speakers. This BIG Buick is beautiful black with lots of brite works that is guaranteed to catch the eye of every enthusiast, additionallythe owner had the car stripped down to bare metal and repainted back in the early 90's by one of the best painters in the area at this time.During the restoration, the car received new interior andchrome work along with the polishing of all stainless.
