1987 Buick Regal WE4

Up for auction is a 1987 Buick turbo Regal WE4

They only made 1547 Turbo Regal WE4 cars in 1987. This car sat in storage for many years. The last inspection sticker was in 1998. The fuel tank, sender and fuel pump (Walbro 340) were all replaced. The VIN on the trunk RPO decal matches the vehicle VIN as it should. It has 125k miles and a clean MA title. Car is very solid. It still retains its original factory installed matching number engine and trans. The 3.42 posi rear is still in place. I have driven this car and it drives great with no issues.Makes great boost, shifts great, lock up works as it should. The power ant. Still works. The power master and brakes function as they should. The power locks and windows work as they should. The mufflers and tailpipes are in need of replacement. The sunroof in the car is an aftermarket unit. Not sure why someone painted an original WE4 car pearl white and installed chrome bumpers but they did. I have found the original Black paint on all panels. The paint is weak, has some minor dings and dents. The bumper fillers need replacing. A/C needs a recharge. Interior is all original and in good shape for its age and mileage. The headliner is doing the sag and should be redone. I wanted to strip and repaint the car but I have WAY too much going on. I own a restoration shop and know these cars real well. It does have some minor rust issues in the lower rear corner of the passenger door. The floors are very solid. This is not a used up rust bucket that needs everything. If your serious about buying one of these cars this is a good one and priced to sell. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime.
