1980 BMW 7-Series

With regret I'm forced to liquidate my 1983 BMW 733i this was a father and son project that I found out that my youngest son isn't a car guy. So with this new found knowledge I bought him a different car, es a cookie cutter car not a 32 year old car that need love. Move forward a few years and I'm now in the middle of a restoration of a car for my 79 year old dad. His car was too far gone to repair due to rust so I started to search for a car body on craigslist. I located one in California and was effectively scammed out of 2500.00. Now I must sell my BMW to recover some of my money ear marked for my dad's restoration. The starting bid is a fraction of what I have in it and a portion of what I was scammed for with no reserve. This 733i has good rubber on it the wheel are 50 footers nothing perfect but we're good enough for a first car. It runs great and shifts great.it has a clean interior the dash has a few cracks and the speedo and tach don't work but I used a Garmin to track my speed. The power windows work the heat works but the A/C doesn't. I installed different seats that weren't torn from another 733i, installed upgraded BMW rear speakers and rear headrests. The windshield is cracked but I have a replacement windshield and I also have a replacement rear window, ecause when I removed the tint some of the rear defrost heating material came off with the tint. The brakes squeaked the last time I took her out in the neighborhood for a walk, o she probably needs some brakes.I recessed the front and rear bumber to simulate the euro look, o they don't look like book shelves any more. I replaced the header to a 1981 version and located the euro style headlight grill and headlight bucket assemblies. I also added in one additional brake light per side for better visibility. The car is still sporting the original paint except for the header panel. The car was used as a daily driver until last year and has been since stored in the garage. I start it about once a month and the battery finally succumbed to age and I replaced with a good battery out of my other car and bought it a new battery. The only rust on the car is one the driver side fender and I included a pic of it. I have in the trunk a wrinkle black intake and valve cover that I thought would look good but never installed. I took a pic of the VIN because the eBay listed one is wrong and it would not allow the correct one because of the zero's and O,I and Q. My brother in law who has been painting cars for years has offered to paint this car black because of the minimal work needed to straighten out the body. I have declined this because I love the original look the car has but to take it to the next level paint will be required. So I ask please help me recover some of my money so I can move forward on a father's request and you receive a clean older car that has been very good to me and will be missed. Please note this is a 1983 car but because of a VIN issue with eBay it's labeled a 1980 car to get past the VIN problem. Again 1983 BMW 733i is what your buying, hank you for your interest.
