1973 BMW 3.0 CSI

Hello Sportsmen - Here's a rather nice Euro Spec 3.0 CSI - European delivery to Italy when new, imported to USA in the 1980s where it was maintained by one collector until 2006. The car saw infrequent use in this multi car collection and is now showing 82313 kilometers, so 51147 miles. After 2006 the car was traded a couple times before purchase by my consignor3 years ago. The car is structurally excellent, with no sign of rust or accident repair ever.
Last year the car was refreshed with a windscreens out complete paint job, interior leather re-dye, new headliner,and various mechanical sorting including suspension bushings, shifter bushings, and other services. The car runs great and is a reliable and thrilling driver. Since these photos were taken, the steering wheel has been changed to a genuine Nardi wood rim wheel.
A previous owner installed a handling package including lowering springs, 16 inch alloys and the usual accessory parts. Unfortunately this has resulted in some rubbing of the front tires on the wheel well arches. There are various ways to correct this condition, and we will leave it to the buyer to choose his preferred fix. Selling price is adjusted to compensate for this.
The car is located on the Connecticut shoreline, about 25 miles East of New Haven.
