1985 BMW 6-Series 635 CSI

I am selling this for a friend who has dementia and is giving up all his cars. He has had it about ten years. When he purchased it he had the front seats rebuilt with correct color leather and had it painted and did a bunch of maintenance to get it road worthy as it had been sitting for a while. The seats are really nice, the paint is so-so, not a high end job.

It shows over 171K, I think this is pretty close as I know that the speedo was working, but it is intermittent now. The car has always been in the south and had no rust or corrosion but the dash is cracked in several places and the engine compartment is about what you would expect for one not garage kept. It drives well with good power, engine is strong with no smoke or noise, the rear diff has some whine to it but has been that way since he has had it and has not gotten worse.

I did all of the initial work on the car when he purchased it and just put a new power steering pump on it but could not tell you much of what was done in between and the owner does not remember. Its straight, I do not think it has had any body damage and has a clean CarCheck and clear title. I will be glad to answer any questions I can rather than try to list all the particulars in the ad. It is currently tagged and insured and I drive it a couple times a week, will it drive to Ohio or New Mexico, maybe but you might want to be prepared for some fun if you plan on a long road trip, but maybe not.
