This Sebring has not been driven hard or raced, is very well maintained and always garaged.

This is a very high quality example that can out perform many Cobras(and can't be built for the asking price).

I purchased this car from a Classic/Exotic dealer in St Louis MO in the fall of 2015 and it was in good running conditionso I drove it to Louisiana with no issues.

Over the first few weeks of ownership I noticed a few things that needed attention;

Installed new interior door handle bezels

Replaced brake master cylinder

Replaced entire Clutch system withAmerican Powertrain Hydramax Hydraulic Clutch Release System

Replaced Muncie M22 4-speed transmission with T5 5-speed (world class transmission)

4-speed worked great but it's low gearing = high RPMs and poor gas mileage -I replaced with a 5-speed and gained better MPG and low RPM's at Interstate speeds

Champion aluminum multi core radiator

Cooling Components 'cooling machine' electric fan

Installed super bright LEDs in all dash gauges

This car will put a smile on anyone's face and is aBLAST TO DRIVE!

Every time I take the car out for a drive I get lots of thumbs-up, people taking pictures and trips to the gas station take longer than expected due to people asking “what is that” and this results in telling my car story but I don't mind, I was once that excited little guy asking about some Cool car I saw.

I've had a lot of Fun with this car and I planned to own it for a long time but I recently purchased a 70s Italian Super Car I've wanted since I was 18, a (1973 de Tomaso Pantera) so I'm selling my classic car collection to fund the completion of my Dream Project.

Classic Roadsters Sebring MX factory specifics:

Delivering handling, performance, and braking light years better than the original vehicles, this Sebring MX is based upon a chassis capable of hitting 1.0 g in skid pad testing, yet built from readily available and inexpensive components. In fact, a Sebring MX won the Class ‘A’ Road Course Championship at California’s famous Willow Springs International Raceway! The Sebring MX’s handling prowess comes from a rigid powder-coated chassis composed of cold-formed rails with heavy-duty body outriggers, jig-welded by certified welders and equipped with a custom front cross member designed to accept Mustang II front-end components. A custom engine mount and suspension mounting brackets, heavy-duty front and rear bumper mounts, reinforcement struts, and a custom transmission cross member complete the sturdy frame.

The top-quality fiberglass body system provides excellent strength, beautiful finishing, and thoughtful details throughout with fiberglass inner-door liners, front and rear fender liners, and classic Austin-Healey style visual cues. The handsome cockpit is well engineered to match, with the slightly larger door openings providing ease of entry and access, to the improved headroom provided by the downward-recessed seats. Driver and passenger comfort far beyond the original Austin-Healey extends to the deluxe handcrafted leather grain vinyl bucket seats, to the door and kick panels, hardwood dash panel, firewall and floor insulation, and carpeting, the Sebring MX possesses uncanny quality throughout. Appearance, performance, and convenience options rounds out the impressive Sebring MX package.

This Austin-Healey Sebring MX was factory-built by Classic Roadsters. Combining classic Austin-Healey styling with real American muscle, it features a powerful Chevy 350 V-8 engine. Finished in two-tone paintwork, this roadster’s intentions are perfectly clear with its aggressively flared fenders, fat wheel/tire combination, and throaty V-8 exhaust note.

Where Classic Roadsters got the "Sebring" name from,(background):

The Austin Healy 100 S- (Sstanding forSebringracing circuit, where the development car won 1st in class in 1954,as well as 3rd overall, and where the production model 100 made it's debut in 1955) - was originally a modified Austin Healy 100, built for the racing circuit in 1953/54. Only 55 were made, and as of a 2002 publication there are 37 still in existance, (book "Original Austin Healy 100, 100-6 and 3000" by Anders D. Clausager). It looked like the earlier 100 series but it had no bumper, a le mans style leather strap over the hood, (safety requirement to keep hoods from flying off), a low perspex windscreen, a loovered hood, and the oval grille. A brass plaque was affixed in the production 100 S, signed by Donald Healy, and saying:

This car is a replica of the The Austin-Healy "100" (Sebring) which averaged 132.29 M.P.H. for 24 hours and was timed by the American Automobile Association at a mean speed of 143.1 M.P.H. over the measured mile at Bonneville, Utah. U.S.A. August 1954"
