1962 Austin Healey BT7 rebuilt

1962 Austin Healey 3000 BT7

I have owned this car since 1984. It has been cared for and was shown in Scottsdale several times. The car was purchased in Iowa and moved to Colorado in 1980 and Arizona in 1984 and then back to Montrose, Colorado in 2002. I had a wheel bearing go out about 5 yeas ago. After replacing this bearing I continued to rebuild the rear end and then the transmission and overdrive. This led to overhauling the engine, starter and generator along with the radiator. The spoke wheels were exchanged to 72spoke wheels and new tires. The upholstery and carpet were change when I purchased the car in Grand Junction. After the above mechanical work I continued to check and replace all suspension and steering as needed. I replaced the steering wheel and added wind screens on the windshield. I drove and showed the car during the course of this work and added a toueau cover. This year I replaced the convertible top and it has only been on the car three times since Ioperate it without the top. As far as I know the car s in great condition mechanically.
