Description:

1968 AMC Javelin Base

I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. It is a very clean 1968 AMC Javelin. It is optioned with factory air conditioning, am radio, tachometer and gauges, 4 speed transmission, power steering. This car has just over 105,000 miles and looks and drives like it has 5000 miles. The interior is completely original and near flawless. There are no tears in the seats, the dash pad isn't cracked and the original carpeting has no wear other than a little fading. Everything on the car works including the A/C. There are two flaws in the body. There is a chip in the paint towards the leading edge of the hood and two very small dings on the right front fender. So small they didn't show in the photos. Mechanically the cars runs and drives great. It sounds good and feels good. The doors shut tight and all the fit and finish is very good. The car is completely original other than the one re-paint. Needless to say, being a California car all its life, there are no rust issues. Just look at the trunk pan and the underside photos. Also notice the originallicense plates that were put on the car in 1968.If you are looking for a real nice American Motors product, here it is. To see and drive the car, call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 weekdays. We are about 15 miles east of Sacramento just off highway 80 going towards Reno, Nevada.
