1971 amc amx prototype CLONE set up as drag race car. no engine or trans roller

1968 AMC AMX

We call him Purple Haze ! This is Car # 4452. This no reserve action is fro a 1968 amc amx that has been converted to a 1971 amx prototype that only one was built for dick Teages of amc.It codes out and is titled as a 1968 390 auto on the floor car. NO ENGINE OR TRANS !!!!!!!! It has had a 1973 front end installed with special hand made scoop. It is set up as a race car and from what i can tell has no turn singles or lights ? It does have the very rare tilt column with a quick release steering wheel by pulling a pin like in NASCAR.
It has a very nice dash with big tac on top and factory one still in dash on drivers side and gauges where radio pod would be. No engine or trans and the pictured but not included are the front wheels and tires and battery and radiator. The door panels have just been done as has the headliner and a new in the box carpet kit is included for you to install.
It does have a roll bar but i don't think it is nhra approved ??? It does have 10x15 rear cragars with low mile wrinkle walls that are older.
The floor pans look good and i see no rust out or repairs.
It does have a valance for under the front bumper and i will be keeping the home made aluminum front spoiler that is on the car now and the valance will not fit with it on. It i have been told has a fiber glass pass side rear quarter panel.
I love early 68-70 amc amx but this car is starting to grow on me because their are very few that have been built and i kinda like the purple also.
Try finding a 68 amx and just buy it and paint it for my price let alone all the interior work and race car stuff.
I also have a 68 343 auto amx # 931 uncompleted project that i want $5999.99 for.
